FABULOUS FOSSIL FINDS FILL FIELD TRIP WITH GRACE as Grace Bible Church (Holland Park) spent the day with Creation Research. One find was a great Ginko leaf. Ginko is the fossil responsible for Charles Darwin inventing the term 'living fossil'. In his day the newly discovered living Ginko had just been introduced into England. Like the newly released Wollemi Pine, Ginko was not only selling at fabulous prices, but was and is a tremendous reminder evolution is not true.

We added the new Ginko fossil (below left) to our great collection which will form a key part of our Web Museum showing that the history of Ginko is degeneration not evolution. Notice the decrease in size and number of fronds on the Ginko leaf. This degenerative process has diminished the size of the Ginko and stuck the separate fronds together. Today's ginko has only 2 fronds which is why it is called 'Ginko biloba', but you can still see the original segments in the ginko leaf if you look carefully.

MISSING MILLIONS ON KANGAROO ISLAND as field trip visits great deposits of fossil shell beds which are easy for the layman to recognize since virtually all specimens in the bed still exist today. Of course the ordinary evolutionary geologist sees these fossil shell beds as sitting on Lower Cambrian rock and pronounces in his wisdom that there is some 500 million years missing between the two rock layers.

It did not take most people long to realize that the geologic column on Kangaroo Island was an illusion based on diagrams in textbooks and not on reality. The importance of noticing this is that the ordinary person is usually convinced by the “overwhelming evidence” from the fossil record that scientists have got all the layers in all the right order with all the fossils to prove life has evolved from simple to complex. The truth is anything but that. Pray for the research we put in to preparing these field trips and finding sites that make it so obvious to the layman so they have no trouble seeing the truth of God's work in God's world.
