Calvary Church was host to a series of talks on the subject of creationism over the weekend. John Mackay of Creation Research – who claims David Attenborough is too frightened to debate with him - had a busy weekend at the church.

UK TEACHERS TV (8th May 2006) programme broadcast featuring John Mackay in a 4 minute slot at the start of the pre-discussion report. The discussion is worth watching particularly for Steve Fuller's (Warwick University) comments. SKY NEWS UK Tuesday 1st May prime time 7 pm broadcast featured a heavily edited debate/interview of John Mackay vs the head of Sense in Science and Society. Editing was an obvious attempt to protect the evolutionist but it failed.
